Owner & Founder
As the managing owner, Beki oversees and reviews all client services. She has a Bachelor’s in Accounting from the SUNY University at Albany, and a Master’s in Business Administration from the Rochester Institute of Technology. Beki is also an Elite QuickBooks ProAdvisor, and a certified bookkeeper with the National Association of Certified Public Bookkeepers.

Beki has worked in the field of accounting and finance for over 15 years. Her career began in public accounting for high net worth clients, both in auditing as well as business and individual tax preparation. She later advanced into operations management and financial analysis, working for several companies including Goldman Sachs and the Eastman School of Music.

As her career progressed, she found her main interest was in increasing the vitality of her local community through serving small businesses. She left corporate work and founded Wachob Financial, where she now helps small business owners make sense of their finances and advance their financial footprints.

Lucas Wachob
Lead Bookkeeper
As a Lead Bookkeeper, Lucas oversees financial reporting for clients, ensuring precision and transparency in their monthly bookkeeping. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science from SUNY ESF and brings over 15 years of experience, primarily in the energy efficiency sector.

Before joining Wachob Financial, Lucas managed the Commercial and Industrial Energy Efficiency Rebate Programs for NYSEG and RG&E. In this role, he led a team of 13 staff and handled all financial operations for a $30M portfolio, including budgeting, forecasting, billing, and P&L management.
Lucas also worked directly with hundreds of small businesses through NYSEG and RG&E’s Small Business Energy Efficiency Rebate Program, helping clients secure rebates that boosted their bottom lines while supporting state-wide energy goals.
As a small business owner himself, Lucas brings a unique understanding of the challenges businesses face and is committed to helping clients achieve financial success.

Stephanie Shepard
Office Administrator &
Lead Bookkeeper
Stephanie is Wachob Financials' Office Administrator & Lead Bookkeeper. She has a background in account and project management for a number of software companies in a wide array of industries such as telecommunications, print and physical security management, and the real estate industry. She has a Bachelor’s degree in History and Policy Studies from Syracuse University and recently received a certification in accounting from Cornell University. With over 15 years of experience in client facing roles, Stephanie is hyper focused and passionate on high quality service to clients.
